It will be celebrated on the Sunday Mass of the 29th September. Please bring any gifts of food and place them at the altar. Any donations will go to the local Food Bank.
Parish Pilgrimage to Lisieux
Our Deacon Des is organising a parish pilgrimage to Lisieux in France to coincide with the feast of St Therese this October. 30th September – 3rd October 2019. It will be operated by Tangney Tours, an established Catholic Pilgrimage operator. Details of the Pilgrimage can be found in the attachment below.
Michael Dopp, dedicated to evangelization and mission projects in Europe, Africa, and North America will be giving a workshop 2.30 pm – 5.00 pm and a presentation: 6.30 pm – 9 pm.
Contents: What is Evangelization/New Evangelization; Why Evangelize? What holds us back (why we don’t evangelize and how to overcome), Witness/Proclamation, Kerygma; Testimony, Genesis Model; Evangelization in a parish, parish renewal.
Please bring a packed lunch, refreshments will be provided. Donation of £5 per person for one or both sessions.
Playing my part in the changing Church (course)
In these times of rapid change, how do we discover God’s desires, communicate effectively with one another and work together with genuine hope? This day will help you: learn the basic skills of discernment; understand better the challenges that we face in times of change, develop some practical strategies for more effective communication and better collaboration. Ruth Holgate & Fr David Smolira, Jesuits from Farm Street will lead the day.

Experience the series message of evangelisation with the CaFE team to answer questions. Day input by DAVID PAYNE, Director of Catholic Faith Exploration.
